#Day 2 ANIMAX Carnival Malaysia 2014 @ Mid Valley

Other than Comic Fiesta which we went for December 2013, ANIMAX Carnival is another big anime event happening over the years for all anime and manga fans. The name has tell it all, ANIMAX Carnival Malaysia 2014 is an ACG event hosted by Animax. It was organize at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre on 29th & 30th March 2014 from 10am to 9pm.

I had intended to attend the event for both days, but was prevented by the bad weather on Saturday when I driving back from Singapore. HOW UNFORTUNATE!

Day 2, I attended the event together with 3 pretties, Leona, Momo and Ai Ling. We reached Mid Valley around 12pm. Wao, was a bit surprising I would say. Because the crowd of cosplayer were more than expected.

As normal ACG event will do, ANIMAX Carnival also full of activities such as cosplay competition, games and lot of merchandise stores in the exhibition hall. That's what my initially schedule plan for the day. However, I changed my mind after see the insanely long queue around the center court before get the number and the queue was getting longer every minute. After that you still have to wait until your number was called. Estimated 3 hours to be wait. Ahhh..the long wait! So that, I surrendered for it. HAHA XD

Except the activities inside the hall, I thought still can enjoy the great atmosphere outside the hall with other cosplayers, but...I was wrong. Because I underestimate how desperate those people wanted to take photo with pretties. OMGosh! Leona and Momo never get bored once we reach there. People keep asking to take photo with them. We don't even have time to walk around. Well, in this occasion, I automatic become their 'Du Manager', take care of them, such as stop photograph and bring them to side while they feel tired, or serve them a beverage while they feel thirsty.  

Time gone so fast due to the crazy photo shooting. Day become night and the event was going to the end.  Here is the only photos that I taken.

I found that cosplay not that easy as I think. May be I should take a chance to cos with them next time. Still not have no idea what character to be cos. :P

Comic Fiesta 2013 @ KLCC

More importantly, learn to embrace the prudence of taking time out to recharge, no matter how hectic the week ahead is going to be. Despite protestations from the workaholic in me, finally I find the way out and enjoy life to fullest. Hang out with your friends is a good way to release your stress, especially when you found a very good atmosphere of the place.

A new phenomenon towards all fans of animation, comic, and games (ACG) has arrived at KLCC, the Comic Fiesta 2013. Comic Fiesta has grown throughout the years. Starting off from zero until now, it’s getting amazing bigger and bigger and being one of the biggest most awesome ACG conventions in Malaysia. It’s super fun and exciting.

Btw, do you know that Comic Fiesta is the non-profit convention in Malaysia? A great success event with a group passion. How proud of it!

Organizer built a stage for invited guest performance. Unexpected crowd there. I felt weird to stand there with very normal clothes and think to have cosplay next time. Hahahhaa.

Spotted amazing cosplayer while we on the way to lunch, cospalyer of GUNDAM. Not a machine with simple motion, but real men inside. OMYGosh! It’s freaking awesome! People can’t wait to take a photo with him, included me. Teehee.

Met many cosplayers today. Even though they aren't international level yet, but they really put many efforts on it! I’m so glad to see them around. =)

A great event I should say. Don’t miss it or you will have to patiently wait for 12 months.

Adidas King Of The Road (KOTR) Malaysia 2013

We always watch Running Man in screen. But how about your real life? Are you one of the Running Man as well? This time round, I immersed myself into race. I signed up for 16.8km category in Adidas King Of The Road (KOTR) Malaysia 2013 on July 2013.

At first, I planned to have at least a practice once a week. But I didn't do it well. Practices become less and less, what is more, I never even achieve the distance more than 6km. And now, the event has come. Well, I was little worried then. What I can do is self hypnosis about "I can make it!" x N times.

Yesterday (Saturday, October 19), I headed to Blue Zone in Sunway Pyramid  to collect the race kits.

Here my Bib No. "A2905".

A tinge of regret I should say. I woke up at 4.30am while I still in the serious sleepy mode. I'm wondering myself that why I made a decision which was suffering myself. *sleepy*


It's always advisable to reach the venue as early as most of the roads leading to Sunway Pyramid were blocked. Can you imagine the happening in Sunway Pyramid at 6am? There is crowded than expected, and they're looking energetic and excited, how amazing! Of course! According to the official announcement, this event had 11, 000 participants, here just a little part of them. *exciting*

Kinda difficult to run on NPE (New Pantai Expressway), because there's few uphill and downhill slopes that we have to conquer. Unavoidable, my coffin joint was freaking pained very fast. Not matter how pain is it, the only thing in my mind is "KEEP FORWARD".


Eventually, all of us finished it! Photo taking with with Vic and Alex. Did you notice that we wear different color Adidas running vest? Haha..it's because we collect it in different day.


We had been given a banana and 500ml mineral after the race. There is beverage sponsor (Milo, 100 plus) right at the corner and having long queue. However, I would not like to take it since I'm exhausted.

Anyway, the finisher medal was awesome. Muackss.

Eventually, I'm so glad I signed up for this race. It was my first time race and it is awesome! When is the next race? I haven't make decision yet. But it's coming soon. See you there.

Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2013

One of the most eagerly awaited events in Putrajaya, the International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta returns for its 5th edition in 2013. The festival which is scheduled to be held for four days (from Thursday, 28th March to Sunday, 31st March), hosted at Monumen Alaf Baru, Precinct 2, Putrajaya.

Regrettably, I missed the 4th edition due to hectic work life last year. Thus, I'm exiting till the max now. XD

There's a lot of activities fun things to enjoy. The most awaited is the Hot Air Ballon Ride. As website announced, the tickets only limited 300 per session only!! Counter open time from 7am until 4.30pm and tags will be given out 30 mins before the counter open. We would like to be part of it, but we can't make it, because there's already more than 300 people long queue before the tags distribution start. How unlucky I have to say, we underrated the eagerness from publicity. *disappointed*

There is another exciting event at the fiesta is the 'night glow' event where the hot air balloons will participate in an enchanting light and sound show on night of 30th March. It's culminating in a thrilling fireworks display.

Party 21 Event @ Genting

The Party 21 Event is a very exclusive annual party which only available for invited guests above 21 years old of Genting world Card's member. A couple of weeks ago, I received invitation mail of Party21 from Genting. We get to join the fun. ;D *Tempting and exciting to the max*

Party21 comes with a complimentary room at First World Hotel. Hence, throw off your worries about drive down after party and switch up the atmosphere there. Teehee.

We were given a chance for lucky draw by liking WorldCard Facebook Page next the small photo booth. Unfortunately, I’m the only one who awarded Genting point meanwhile my entire friends awarded free hotel. Damn it! I should do blessing before I draw it!

We were given 3 complimentary drinks card each person from registration counter. Of course we need it. XD

21 Event separate into outdoor and indoor area. Indoor area was performed by band and dancer and outdoor was hosted by prerry DJ the entire night. 

Let's start the party! 

Overall it was a very happening event I would like to say. But I was wondering why the organizer set the rule of prohibit alcohol drink at at outdoor area. DJ plays music but listener without alcohol drink just like no meat allowed in Bak Gut Teh restaurant. No sense right? This is worst part for me. 

Anyhow, we still have the good ending with enjoyed one night complimentary after event. XD
