Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2013

One of the most eagerly awaited events in Putrajaya, the International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta returns for its 5th edition in 2013. The festival which is scheduled to be held for four days (from Thursday, 28th March to Sunday, 31st March), hosted at Monumen Alaf Baru, Precinct 2, Putrajaya.

Regrettably, I missed the 4th edition due to hectic work life last year. Thus, I'm exiting till the max now. XD

There's a lot of activities fun things to enjoy. The most awaited is the Hot Air Ballon Ride. As website announced, the tickets only limited 300 per session only!! Counter open time from 7am until 4.30pm and tags will be given out 30 mins before the counter open. We would like to be part of it, but we can't make it, because there's already more than 300 people long queue before the tags distribution start. How unlucky I have to say, we underrated the eagerness from publicity. *disappointed*

There is another exciting event at the fiesta is the 'night glow' event where the hot air balloons will participate in an enchanting light and sound show on night of 30th March. It's culminating in a thrilling fireworks display.

Lin Yuan Pumpkin Garden Steamboat Kitchen 淋园火锅小馆 @ Cheras Maluri

It had been quite a long time I didn't visit Lin Yuan Pumpkin Garden Steamboat Kitchen which located opposite Jusco Cheras Maluri. I ever tried pumpkin porridge at many places, however Lin Yuan still my favorite ever. ;)

Lin Yuan won its fame few year ago when located at Queens Park Cheras.

There are three types of soup base available here: seafood, tomyam and pumpkin porridge, which is also the most popular one from what I observed. If you are having only the porridge steamboat, then it will be served in a clay pot instead of steel pot. As well known facts about cooking in clay pots is more healthy and delicious. By the way, there is a surcharge of RM1.50 for each pax if the pumpkin porridge is selected (refillable). You won't regret spending few dollars on the add-on.

The charges is RM16.90 per order pax. This time, we are so lucky to indulge in the rich soupy pumpkin porridge with 2 order pax at RM16.90x2pax RM9.00 from the online promotion as Social Living. ;)

Pumpkin porridge steamboat is Lin Yuan's specialty, extraordinary smooth and rich after adding eggs, an unique gastronomic pleasure.

Party 21 Event @ Genting

The Party 21 Event is a very exclusive annual party which only available for invited guests above 21 years old of Genting world Card's member. A couple of weeks ago, I received invitation mail of Party21 from Genting. We get to join the fun. ;D *Tempting and exciting to the max*

Party21 comes with a complimentary room at First World Hotel. Hence, throw off your worries about drive down after party and switch up the atmosphere there. Teehee.

We were given a chance for lucky draw by liking WorldCard Facebook Page next the small photo booth. Unfortunately, I’m the only one who awarded Genting point meanwhile my entire friends awarded free hotel. Damn it! I should do blessing before I draw it!

We were given 3 complimentary drinks card each person from registration counter. Of course we need it. XD

21 Event separate into outdoor and indoor area. Indoor area was performed by band and dancer and outdoor was hosted by prerry DJ the entire night.

Overall it was a very happening event I would like to say. But I was wondering why the organizer set the rule of prohibit alcohol drink at at outdoor area. DJ plays music but listener without alcohol drink just like no meat allowed in Bak Gut Teh restaurant. No sense right? This is worst part for me. 

Anyhow, we still have the good ending with enjoyed one night complimentary after event. XD

Loong's Farewell at MyBurgerLab @ Seapark & Horoscope @ SetiaWalk

Hey Guys! Happy Chinese New Year! I hope you've fully enjoyed the past whole week! I've been so busy for travelling, eating, receiving my Ang Pao, and...gambling! XD

In one day time, Loong will be leaving to Beijing for his studies. So we had a little farewell gathering last night.

Firstly, we had a little dinner at MyBurgerLab which located in Seapark. Previously, my friends told me repeatedly how delicious is it. I finally have a chance to pay a visit to the burger shop and see myself how awesome is it.

The shop was full as expected and a long queue as we go in the shop. 50 more orders before us. Waited approximately half an hour.

All of us order burgers with sets, fries and drinks are included. *Drinks can be refilled.* You won't regret spending a few extra dollar on the add-on! As you can see, it's black in color. All the burgers here come with charcoal bun,but there's no charcoal flavor in the bun, so no worries.

Headed off to Horoscope at Puchong Setia Walk for the second round after dinner. At first I suggested we drink at iDarts cause we were thinking to play dart game while we drinks, but it suddenly changed to Horoscope once we reached outside SetiaWalk since they preferred try new bistro bar that they've never been. Ahhh...my dart games gone!! LOL.

I kissed a sexy girl last night. Hahaa...Actually it just a postcard with sexy picture which Jeremy bought from Australia as souvenir for us, but we taken many "sam bat" picture with "sexy girl". XD

Friends who unable to have dinner together with us came join our happy hour also. Some of them are the secondary friends that I never meet after graduated. *Surprise*

Alicia’s 19th Birthday @ Plan B, Publika

If you haven’t been to Publika, you should take a time to visit there. It is an artsy mall located at Solaris Dutamas. I was enjoying the delights of this artistic ambiance there. I didn't shopping at here though, since most items sell with the price above average, which is targeted at the affluent residents in this area. 

The main reason I visit Publika is for the food. This time, Alicia and I spent a fabulous night at Plan B, an artistic restaurant at Publika for her birthday celebration.

New Year Eve 2013 @ Boon's House, Seri Kembangan

How did you spend your New Year Eve? On the last night of the year, KL city was as congested as it's always been. Instead of driving ourselves nuts with the massive jam in the city where everyone gathered for countdown, we decided to have a house barbecue party at Boon's house. It's just another gathering activity for us.

I like barbecue, I love chicken wings! But...it always been scorched. Awkward moment!

Food of the night! Frankly, we just indulged ourselves in mix and roasted all the foods that we prepared ,  but eventually it was become very delicious!*Mouthwatering*

An unexpected rain came while we were very happy in grilling, it has worsened the difficulties of BBQ. However, weather does not stop us from grilling or making BBQ. Well, a light and short rain I should say. We should check the weather report whenever the outdoors activity was confirmed in future. :P

After new year countdown, we never forget to celebrate Alex's birthday as well which is on 1st Jan. We  conceal from him this in pre-preparing. Cake is small, surprise may little, but is meaningful.
